#NewMusicTuesday: Luke Combs: “Hurricane”

Luke Combs did not skyrocket to fame overnight. While his success is certainly starting to pick up speed, Combs has put in the work and the hours to make his dreams a reality. Almost three years ago, the Asheville, NC native quit his two jobs and moved to Nashville to pursue music full time.

Since making that decision, Combs has released two self-funded EPs and dropped his biggest hit yet, “Hurricane,” which debuted at No. 46 on the hybrid Hot Country Songs chart. “Hurricane” has been such a success that the singer/songwriter re-released the single with Columbia back in October, and the song continues to be a fan favorite to this day.

So, why can’t we get enough of “Hurricane?” No doubt the song is catchy, but Combs’ voice and vocal power keep us hooked. Take a listen for yourself, below! video

We’re excited to see what 2017 has in store for Luke. He joined Brantley Gilbert's The Devil Don't Sleep arena tour in February, and in early summer, Luke will release his debut album, This One's for You. We can’t wait to give it a listen!
