Artist of the Week: 2020 iHeartRadio Jingle Ball

iHeartRadio’s annual Jingle Ball reminds us all why they call it “the most wonderful time of the year!”

Music fans across the globe cozied up by the fire for an unforgettable night of holiday magic as best and brightest in music performed at the iHeartRadio Jingle Ball, presented by Capital One.

There was no stopping the holiday cheer, as the biggest names in music delighted fans with a mix of their own biggest hits and never-before-heard covers of iconic holiday songs—including festive performances from artists like Billie Eilish, Doja Cat, Dua Lipa, Harry Styles, Lewis Capaldi, Shawn Mendes, Sam Smith and The Weeknd!

Going virtual this year, the iHeartRadio Jingle Ball invited music fans right into the homes of the biggest names in music to share in their personal holiday traditions and more.

The festivities included a cozy rendition of “Dream” by Shawn Mendes, who shared that his holiday plans with girlfriend and fellow singer Camila Cabello won’t include any cooking. While Sam Smith delivered a flawless performance of the wistful classic “Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas,” while Doja Cat shared an intimate performance of “Santa Baby.”

Harry Styles and the Free Nationals wished us happy holidays by performing his own hits in front of a very cool-looking airstream, and Dua Lipa blew us all away with soothing performances of “Don’t Start Now” and “Happy Xmas.” And BTS even showed up to sing “Santa Claus Is Comin' to Town” for us!

Billie Eilish performed holiday favorite “Silver Bells” in Santa’s workshop, while Lewis Capaldi dressed up as ol’ Saint Nick himself and serenaded us with the modern hit, “Last Christmas.”

Last, but definitely not least, The Weeknd donned a cozy sweater and old fashioned, gold-rimmed glasses and treated fans to a holiday-light show fueled performance of his number one played song, “Blinding Lights.”

If you missed out on the live performances, don’t you worry—there’s still plenty of opportunities to catch all the holiday action! The CW Network will broadcast the event again in its entirety as an exclusive nationwide television special next Monday, December 14 at 8pm EST.

So mark your calendars to relive an unforgettable night of holiday fun, and tune into iHeartRadio’s holiday playlists for all the season’s favorites in the meantime!
