Peace One Day teams up with iHeartRadio and 23andMe to spread peace at the iHeartRadio Music Festival!

Today at the iHeartRadio Music Festival we’re honoring Peace Day - an annual day of global ceasefire and non-violence established by the non-profit Peace One Day. Along with Peace One Day and 23andMe, we’re bringing fans a powerful video montage of today’s top artists performing an original Peace Day piece. Whether you’re at the festival or watching from home later on, this is a tribute you don’t want to miss!

Singer-songwriter, poet and producer Mike Posner created the poem, where he urges fans to put their differences aside for peace, not only on this day but throughout their lives. iHeartRadio Music Festival performers including Mariah Carey, Carrie Underwood, Kygo, Logic, Sam Smith, 5 SOS, Belly and others as well as Nick Jonas, Troye Sivan, Dinah Jane and more will lend their voices to help bring a special Peace Day message to life on stage tonight. It’s a montage that will inspire everyone to spread love and kindness, and we can’t wait to see it!

Fans at The Daytime Village at the iHeartRadio Music Festival will also be invited to share personal messages of peace, and some will be selected to air on an upcoming special episode of spit - an iHeartRadio and  23andMe podcast that explores how DNA testing gives us a new perspective on who we are and how we are all connected. The special Peace Day spit episode will be hosted by Bobby Bones and will feature an open discussion with Mike Posner and Jeremy Gilley, the founder of Peace One Day, about the importance of the Peace One Day mission and how each of us is connected.
