Artist of the Week: Charlie Puth

Charlie Puth’s new album Voicenotes isn’t like anything that fans would expect from the singer/songwriter—it’s even better! Puth broke out onto the music scene with his album Nine Track Mind, producing hits like “One Call Away,” “Marvin Gaye” and “We Don’t Talk Anymore.” But this time around, Puth is exploring his artistry and experimenting with a new, more raw and honest style and we are digging it!

Named after the iPhone note-taking app, Voicenotes, the album focuses on Puth’s struggle with relationships given his life in the spotlight, portrayed through songs including “How Long,” “LA Girls,” and his latest single “Done for Me,” featuring Kehlani. The melodies will make you want to get up and dance, and the lyrics are catchy and relatable for anyone who’s struggled to connect with a significant other.

We celebrated Charlie’s new record at our Album Release Party yesterday and we can’t wait for you to heart it! Voicenotes is out now—check it out on iHeartRadio!
