#NewMusicTuesday: Charlie Puth, “If You Leave Me Now”

Charlie Puth fans may have been disappointed to hear that his new album, Voicenotes, wouldn’t be out until later this year, but he knew just how to buy himself some extra time — by dropping his new song, “If You Leave Me Now,” featuring Boyz II Men! We’ll never leave you, Charlie! We promise!

With the release of “How Long” and “Attention,” Puth has already given us a preview of his upcoming album, but “If You Leave Me Now” is a throwback to the soulful Charlie we heard back in his earlier “One Call Away” days. The song is smooth and full of longing, with the talented Boyz II Men providing the perfect accompanying sound for the track.

For those on the edge of their seats, eagerly awaiting Voicenotes, don’t worry — Charlie has assured fans that the album will be out soon! He just wants to take some extra time to perfect it, and we can all get behind that, right? It’s now scheduled to arrive in May, but in the meantime, we’re throwing it back to this special acoustic performance of “One Call Away,” performed live on the Elvis Duran show! Check it out and keep listening to Charlie Puth’s past hits on iHeartRadio!
