Artist of the Week: Kesha
It’s finally happening -- Kesha just released a single from her upcoming album, and we couldn’t be more excited! In her new single, “Praying,” Kesha spreads love and healing, and encourages her fans to rid themselves of negativity. The new album Rainbow features a slew of all-star collaborations with artists including Miley Cyrus, Iggy Azalea, Ariana Grande, and more.
Kesha was signed to her first label at age 18 in 2005, and her 2010 debut album Animal hit the top of the charts in several countries. She then somehow managed to achieve three more number-one singles, including “Tik Tok,” while also writing songs for other artists such as Britney Spears. But since 2013, a legal dispute with her former producer has prevented her from releasing any more new music.
That’s why we’re so pumped to finally hear Kesha's new song, which previews the August 11 drop of Rainbow! It’s good to have you back, Kesha.
