Artist of the Week: Miranda Lambert
Country queen Miranda Lambert released a new single this week, titled "It All Comes Out In the Wash.” This fresh song from Lambert is fun, light and more upbeat than the bulk of Lambert’s most recent albums—it’s an instant summer hit! The single had its world premiere on iHeartCountry earlier this week, so go ahead and start streaming!
“It All Comes Out in the Wash” is all about dealing with mistakes and heartbreaks. In the song’s lyrics, Lambert lists off a number of possible mistakes from ketchup spills in the car to misguided drunk dials and annoying ex-boyfriends. Bad things happen, but Lambert reminds us to relax: everything is transient and things work themselves out when it “comes out in the wash.” The song’s title actually comes from an adage that her mother and grandmother used a lot when she was growing up. “It's true,” explained Lambert in an interview. “Everything finds a resolve, and at the end of the day, it doesn't matter.”
In September of this year, Lambert will revamp her Roadside Bars and Pink Guitars Tour with an all-female lineup that includes her trio Pistol Annies, Elle King, Maren Morris, Ashley McBryde, Caylee Hammack and Tenille Townes on select dates. Grab your tickets to check out Lambert and the rest of these epic country music singers on tour this fall!
